Finally they arrived, the two crates with the parts for the RV-7 Wings. Because of the size (length) of the main spars, the transport consists of three parts: with a truck from Aurora (OR) to Norfolk (VA), a ship from Norfolk to Rotterdam (Netherlands) and again a truck from Rotterdam to Loenen.
One of the often heard “issues” is that you have to unload the crates manually, since the lift on a truck is too small to unload the long crate. So we grabbed the crate and put them in the workshop.
Both crates are now in the workshop and I will start inventory this week together with the kids (they have vacation).
